We have vacancies within our Children in Need, Looked After Children and Duty and Advice services.
To help deliver our vision we need experienced Level 2 and Level 3 Social Workers who are enthusiastic and hard-working with a strong track record of working with children, young people and their families to achieve positive outcomes. You will either have a degree in Social Work, DipSW or CQSW, be registered with HCPC and have experience of working in a statutory social work environment.
Children in Need and Looked After Children
In your role you will manage a mixed caseload of statutory child care work, carry out investigations and undertake assessments with children, young people and their families. You will be required to work in partnership with other agencies, attend meetings and engage with colleagues in early help to provide a service which contributes to the improvement in children and families outcomes.
Duty and Advice
Known as the Front Door, Duty and Advice is a innovative and pioneering team that is staffed by qualified Social Workers, working on a rolling rota covering 24hrs 7 days a week. Social Workers are trained and experienced to have conversations with callers about concerns, queries that they may have in relation to children, young people and their carers to identiify the best solution to address their needs.
